As campus president, she oversees the instruction and student services for over 30,000 students each year. Linda Gerber is President of Portland Community College’s Sylvania Campus, the college's first and largest campus. She has also been active in other state education issues.ĭr. Karen was the chair for the state for the full day kindergarten committee that enacted legislation for all students in the state to receive full day kindergarten. She started the Tigard -Tualatin Online Academy (TTOA) last year which has grown from 20 to 150 students.

The last few years, she has served as Director of Alternative Programs for the District. She then became Principal at Durham Elementary and then the Principal at Metzger Elementary. Karen started her administrative career as a Curriculum Vice-Principal at Tualatin High School. Over the years, she has coached basketball, volleyball, track, and softball throughout the school district. She then served as a school counselor at Tigard High School, Tualatin High School and Charles F.

She started at Fowler Middle School as a special educator and moved to Tigard High School in the same capacity.
